Your Trust Score is your reputation on Croux. It tells businesses how reliable and professional you are, and it directly affects the opportunities you get.
New to Croux? Check your Profile Score first
If you have not completed your first shift yet, you will see a Profile Score instead. Your Profile Score measures how complete your profile is β upload your photo, add work history, complete TARA, and more to increase it.
Once you start completing shifts, your Trust Score kicks in and reflects your on-the-job track record. Both scores help businesses decide who to hire.
Where to find your Trust Score
Your Trust Score appears in the More tab, displayed as a percentage next to your profile name.
What the Trust Score is based on
The Trust Score is based on long-term, real-world performance, not a single rating or a burst of recent activity. It looks at:
- Shift completion β shifts accepted and worked through to the end
- Reliability β arriving on time and not cancelling last-minute
- Business feedback β the ratings businesses leave after a shift
- Number of shifts worked
- Tenure on the platform β how long the account has been active on Croux
Trust Scores update daily, so the score always reflects a current track record.
Higher score means more opportunities. Businesses see your Trust Score when reviewing applications, and many prefer talent with a proven track record.
What does not affect the Trust Score
- Leaving a shift early because of illness. This does not directly impact the Trust Score.
- Contacting Croux support or asking questions. Raising an issue with us is never held against a talent.
- Shifts a business cancels, or a business removing talent from a shift. Only a talent's own actions count toward their score.
Confidentiality
Reviews on Croux go both ways, and both directions are confidential.
- All business and talent reviews are confidential.
- We never disclose specific ratings, the content of feedback, or who left it β in the same way we do not share your feedback about a business with them.
- We do not share how the Trust Score is weighted or calculated.
So we will not be able to tell you which business rated you or what they said. If you think a rating or a shift outcome was recorded incorrectly, contact us with the shift code (the 6-character code shown with your shift) and we will review it.
What helps your score
| Action | Impact |
|---|---|
| Completing shifts | Every successful shift builds your score |
| Showing up on time | Punctuality matters |
| Positive business ratings | Great feedback boosts your score |
| Low cancellation rate | Reliability is rewarded |
| Consistent performance | Steady work over time |
What hurts your score
| Action | Impact |
|---|---|
| Cancellations | Each cancellation affects your score |
| Late cancellations | Cancelling within 24 hours hurts more |
| No-shows | Major negative impact, plus permanent suspension |
| Negative business feedback | Poor ratings lower your score |
| Tardiness | Clocking in 15 or more minutes after your scheduled start time counts as tardy and will lower your Trust Score. Your first-ever shift on Croux is excluded from tardiness tracking as a grace period. |
What your score means
Your Trust Score is displayed as a positivity percentage next to your name in the More tab (for example, "100% Positive"). Businesses see your score as a tier level when reviewing applicants:
| Tier | What it means |
|---|---|
| Unrated | You have not worked enough shifts yet for a Trust Score β businesses look at your Profile Score instead |
| Fair | The average community talent. Not a poor rating β many reliable talent start here and move up quickly |
| Good | A proven, dependable talent with consistent attendance and positive outcomes |
| Very Good / Exceptional | Highly reliable, with a strong track record across multiple businesses and shifts |
Your Trust Score updates daily, so it always reflects your current track record.
How to improve your Trust Score
1. Show up, every time
The fastest way to build your score is simple: accept shifts you will actually work, and then show up.
2. Be punctual
Arrive 10-15 minutes early. Clock in on time. Tardiness adds up.
3. Avoid cancellations
Only accept shifts you are confident you can work. If you must cancel, do it as early as possible β never within 24 hours unless it is a genuine emergency.
4. Do great work
Businesses rate you after your shift. Be professional, follow instructions, stay busy, and maintain a positive attitude.
5. Build consistency
One great shift does not make a reputation, but a pattern of great shifts does. Stick with it.
The cancellation impact
| Cancellation type | Impact |
|---|---|
| Early cancellation (48+ hours before) | Minor impact |
| Cancellation (24-48 hours before) | Moderate impact |
| Late cancellation (within 24 hours) | Significant impact, plus a temporary suspension |
| No-show (no cancellation, no communication) | Permanent suspension |
The rule: if you cannot make it, cancel as early as humanly possible. Businesses need time to find a replacement.
Trust Score and shift access
- Higher scores may get early access to premium shifts
- Higher scores are more likely to be selected when businesses review applications
- Lower scores may see reduced visibility or limited shift options
- Very low scores may result in temporary restrictions
Think of it like a credit score for work β it takes time to build, and it is worth protecting.
