If you've noticed two different scores on your Croux profile and they don't match, don't worry β that's completely normal. They're two separate scores that measure different things.
The quick answer
You have two scores, and they're supposed to be different:
- Trust Score β based on your shift work: attendance, completions, and reviews from businesses.
- Profile Score β based on how complete your profile is, across nine items such as Identity & Payments, TARA, availability, uniform, background check consent, and work history.
These examples illustrate independent measurements. Profile Score shows profile setup progress; Trust Score reflects work history. These screenshots are not from the same account.
In Profile Score, tap Complete beside an unfinished step to continue setup. This score measures your profile; Trust Score measures your shift record.
Nothing is broken β these are two different measurements of two different things.
What is your Trust Score?
Your Trust Score is your reputation on Croux β it reflects your on-the-job track record. It's built from:
- Showing up to shifts you've accepted
- Clocking in on time
- Completing your shifts
- Reviews from the businesses you work with
Where to find it: Your Trust Score appears at the top of the More tab as a percentage next to your name (for example, 100% Positive). It only kicks in once you've started completing shifts β before that, businesses look at your Profile Score.
What is your Profile Score?
Your Profile Score shows how complete your Croux profile is. The more steps you complete, the higher it goes:
- Identity & Payments
- Boost Your Profile (AI Call) with TARA
- Availability
- Preferred Positions
- Weekly Shift Goals (Work Appetite)
- Certifications
- Uniform
- Background Check Consent
- Work History
Where to find it: It's shown on your More tab as the "Profile Score" card β tap View to see every step you can complete. A stronger profile means businesses are more likely to hire you, especially before you've built up a Trust Score.
Why do they show different tiers?
Think of it this way:
- Your Profile Score answers: "How complete and ready is this person's profile?"
- Your Trust Score answers: "How reliable has this person been on actual shifts?"
You could have a fully complete profile (high Profile Score) but still be building your work history (lower Trust Score), or the other way around. Both can be true at the same time β and that's by design. They also live on different screens in the app, which is why you might see one before the other.
Which one should I focus on?
- New to Croux? Focus on your Profile Score first β complete every step so businesses can find and hire you.
- Already working shifts? Your Trust Score becomes the bigger factor. Show up on time, complete your shifts, and earn great reviews.
