Before you can work shifts that require a specific uniform, you upload a photo of yourself wearing it. Here is how the review works and how to get approved on the first try.
How the review works
Your photo is reviewed automatically as soon as you upload it. Most photos get a decision within minutes. Some photos need an extra manual review, which can take a little longer. If your photo is rejected, the reason appears at the top of the upload screen.
How to get approved on the first try
- Upload the original photo, straight from your camera. Screenshots, edited images, or photos saved from other apps are the most common reason for rejection. The review checks that the photo is an unedited original.
- Wear the exact uniform the shift requires. Check the details in the app. Sleeve length matters: if the uniform calls for a short-sleeve polo, a long-sleeve shirt will be rejected, and the other way around.
- Show your full body, head to toe, in good lighting, with your face clearly visible.
- Match the colors exactly, including shoes. For all-black uniforms, that means black shoes with no white markings.
If your photo was rejected
Read the reason shown at the top of the upload screen, fix that one thing, and take a fresh photo. If the reason says the image could not be verified as an original, retake the photo with your camera and upload it directly, without editing, cropping, or screenshotting it.
