If you've noticed two different scores on your Croux profile and they don't match, don't worry β that's completely normal. They're two separate scores that measure different things.
The Quick Answer
You have two scores, and they're supposed to be different:
- Trust Score β based on your shift work: attendance, completions, and reviews from businesses.
- Profile Score β based on how complete your profile is: identity verification, work history, certifications, uniforms, availability, and TARA.
Because they measure different things, it's normal for them to show different tiers at the same time. Here's a real example β the same person can have a "Very Good" Profile Score and an "Exceptional" Trust Score at once:
Nothing is broken β these are two different measurements of two different things.
What Is Your Trust Score?
Your Trust Score is your reputation on Croux β it reflects your on-the-job track record. It's built from:
- Showing up to shifts you've accepted
- Clocking in on time
- Completing your shifts
- Reviews from the businesses you work with
Where to find it: Tap More β My Profile. Your Trust Score is the card at the top of that screen. It only kicks in once you've started completing shifts β before that, businesses look at your Profile Score.
What Is Your Profile Score?
Your Profile Score shows how complete your Croux profile is. The more steps you complete, the higher it goes:
- Identity verification (includes your first profile photo)
- Work history
- Certifications
- Approved uniforms
- Availability
- TARA interview
Where to find it: It's shown on your More tab as the "Profile Score" card β tap View to see every step you can complete. A stronger profile means businesses are more likely to hire you, especially before you've built up a Trust Score.
Why Do They Show Different Tiers?
Think of it this way:
- Your Profile Score answers: "How complete and ready is this person's profile?"
- Your Trust Score answers: "How reliable has this person been on actual shifts?"
You could have a fully complete profile (high Profile Score) but still be building your work history (lower Trust Score), or the other way around. Both can be true at the same time β and that's by design. They also live on different screens in the app, which is why you might see one before the other.
Which One Should I Focus On?
- New to Croux? Focus on your Profile Score first β complete every step so businesses can find and hire you.
- Already working shifts? Your Trust Score becomes the bigger factor. Show up on time, complete your shifts, and earn great reviews.
