You must be at least 18 years old to work on Croux.
This requirement exists because all Croux talent must pass a background check before being approved to work shifts. Background check providers require applicants to be 18 or older.
Why 18?
- Background checks — Our background check partner (Turn) requires all applicants to be legal adults
- Legal requirements — Many businesses we work with have age requirements for their venues
- Independent contractor status — As a 1099 contractor, you need to be able to enter into legal agreements
What if I'm under 18?
Unfortunately, we cannot approve accounts for anyone under 18. Check back when you turn 18 — we'd love to have you on the platform!
