Post a shift with Concierge, check your staffing calendar, and find the timesheets that need your attention—all from the Croux app.
Availability: This guide previews the updated business app. The new controls become available when the update reaches your device. If your screens look different, check for an update or contact Support.
Use your existing business account. The examples below use demonstration data; your locations, talent, shifts and totals will be different.
In this guide
- Get started
- Create, review and post a shift
- Check open spots in the calendar
- Find and interpret timesheets
- Messages and other Concierge requests
- Troubleshoot a problem
Get started
- Open the Croux app and sign in with your existing business login.
- If an update is offered, install it before following this guide. You can also check the App Store for iPhone or Google Play for Android.
- Use the bottom navigation to move between Shifts, Timesheets and Messages. The C in the center opens Concierge.
Post a shift with Concierge
1. Open Concierge and describe what you need
Tap the C at the center of the bottom bar. You can speak with Concierge or type in Ask Concierge. The microphone is at the right of the message field. If a voice session is already active, speak your request; otherwise use that control to begin. You can also choose a suggested task.
Include the role, location, date, start and end times, number of people, and hourly rate. For example: “Post two servers at Sutton Market on October 31, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., at $20 an hour.” Add any instructions the team needs, such as the uniform and whom to report to. Answer any follow-up questions before reviewing the draft. Use an exact date if “Saturday” could be ambiguous.
What to look for
- Top of the conversation — suggested tasks: Start with Post a shift?, ask about unfilled shifts, or ask for help with timesheets.
- Bottom text field — Ask Concierge: Type a request here if you prefer text.
- Bottom-right microphone: Use the microphone control to speak your request.
2. Review the draft before posting
Concierge prepares a card marked DRAFT · REVIEW BEFORE POSTING. Your next action is to check the details; a draft is not a posted shift.
Check the date, time, location, role, number of people, rate and instructions. Review the accompanying summary too: it may describe settings inherited from a template, such as the report-to contact, auto-hire, timesheet tracking or requirements.
Select Preview to review the shift before posting. If something is wrong, tell Concierge what needs to change—for example, “Change the start time to 6 p.m.”—and review the updated details. Do not tap Post until the card matches your request.
What to look for
- Top of the card — draft label: This is the review stage. The shift has not been published.
- Shift details: Check the full request against the card and summary; example settings are not defaults for every business.
- Bottom of the card — Preview / Post: Preview is for review. Post publishes the shift when you are ready.
3. Post and verify the result
When the details are correct, tap Post. Look for the green confirmation with a shift code and View shift. Use View shift to open the result and confirm its date, location and staffing requirement. If you do not see a confirmation, check your Shifts calendar before repeating the request.
Posted does not mean filled. Return to Shifts to check the hired count and staffing status.
What to look for
- Green row — confirmation: The result now includes a shift code, replacing the draft actions.
- Right side of the green row — View shift: Open the posted shift to check its details.
- Bottom-right End control: The voice session can still be active after a shift is posted; use End when you have finished speaking.

Check staffing in the Shifts calendar
- Tap Shifts in the bottom navigation.
- Select the day you want to review. Use the calendar arrows to move through dates.
- Read the cards below the calendar for the role, location, hours and hired count. Compare hired with requested: for example, 2/4 hired means two spots remain open.
The calendar legend distinguishes Filled shifts in green from Unfilled shifts in orange. Orange includes shifts that are partially filled or still have open spots.
What to look for
- Selected day: The dark date circle identifies the day being displayed.
- Status legend: Use the dots and legend to scan for open staffing needs.
- Hired count: A card showing 4/4 hired has four people hired against four requested. Check the count on the current shift, not an example screenshot.
- C button: Concierge stays accessible from the center of the bottom bar.
Find the timesheets that need attention
- Tap Timesheets.
- Choose To review for timesheets awaiting review, or switch to Approved, Rejected or All.
- Use Search name, role, or shift to find a specific record. Check the date range above the results as well.
- Review each card’s date, role, people and recorded hours. Pay attention to any status or missing-clock-in warning before approving a timesheet.
To review
The ready to approve badge shows the number ready for review on that shift. Where shown, Auto-approves in gives the remaining review time. Use the countdown on your actual record; the example is not a universal approval window.
What to look for
- Search: Find a name, role or shift without scanning the full list.
- Status tabs: The dark tab is the current view.
- Date range: The list here is limited to the displayed week.
- Review badge: Check both the ready count and any auto-approval countdown.
Approved
Use Approved to find records already approved. The green badge identifies their timesheet status. Match the date, shift and talent before using the displayed hours or amount in a follow-up.
What to look for
- Approved tab: Confirms which status you are viewing.
- Green Approved badge: Identifies the status of each listed record.
- Record details: Match the shift and talent before using the displayed hours or amount.
Rejected
Use Rejected to find timesheets in that state. Match the shift and talent when following up. The list shows status but does not explain why a record was rejected; ask Support if the reason or next action is unclear.
What to look for
- Rejected tab: Narrows the view to rejected records.
- Red Rejected badge: Shows the status; it does not establish the reason.
If a clock-in is missing
A missing-clock-in warning means the record needs attention. Confirm the actual time worked before approving. If you cannot resolve the missing information in the record, contact Croux Support with the shift code and the details that need checking.
More you can do from your phone
- Ask Concierge about staffing: Request the status of unfilled shifts, or ask for help changing headcount, favoriting talent or adding someone to Do Not Hire. Specify the shift or person so the request is clear, and review any details Concierge asks you to confirm.
- Message talent: Use Messages to communicate with talent you have favorited or who have applied to your shifts. You do not need an active shared shift to start that conversation.
If something does not look right
- The screen looks different: Check for an app update and confirm that you are signed in to your business account.
- You cannot find a shift or timesheet: Check the selected location, date and status view, then search using the shift code.
- A Concierge draft is incorrect: Ask for the correction and review the result before tapping Post.
- You are unsure whether a shift posted: Look for the green confirmation and View shift, then check your calendar before creating the same shift again.
- You need help: Include the shift code, what you were trying to do, and the message shown on screen when contacting Support.
