When you join Croux after a call with our team, your account is set up for you before you ever log in. You confirm the details, and Croux Concierge, our in-app assistant, walks you through the rest. Most businesses finish in one sitting.
Step 1: Open your setup link
After your call, we email a setup link to your work email. Open it on a computer or tablet. Your business is already named, so all you do is create a password. There's nothing to gather first.
Setup links work once and expire after a short time. If yours has expired, reply to the email or contact support@croux.co and we'll send a new one.
Step 2: Confirm your setup with Concierge
You'll see a checklist on the left, the current step in the middle, and Concierge on the right. Most steps are already filled in from your call. Check each one and confirm it, or fix anything that's off. You can type or talk to Concierge at any point.
Business details: your business name, address and contact details. Talent see this name and map pin on every shift you post.
Pricing and terms: review the terms you agreed to and accept the Croux Terms of Use. Questions about your pricing go to your Croux contact.
-
Roles you hire: the positions from your call are already checked. Add or remove any.
Billing and accounting: who should hear from us about invoices, where invoices should go, and how you run your books (your accounting system, purchase orders or cost codes).
Bartending insurance: only if you hire bartenders. Upload your certificate of insurance, and we review it before your first bartending shift.
-
Team and permissions: invite your managers and choose what each person can do. Nobody is invited until you confirm.
-
Clock-in tags: tell us where your tags will live, either fixed near your time clock, carried by a team captain, or both.
-
Mobile app: scan the QR code to get the Croux app for your managers.
Signing up without a call
You can also sign up on your own at app.croux.co. Use your work email, and Concierge can look up your company's public website and suggest your business details, with the sources it used. Nothing is saved until you accept it.
Step 3: Practice before your first shift
When setup is done, you can try the real Croux app with sample data. A banner at the top shows you're in practice mode, and nothing is saved or sent. Concierge shows you how to:
- Review and approve timesheets
- Rate the talent who worked for you
- Set up your first shift template
Ratings matter: they help decide who Croux sends to your future shifts.
What happens next
- We ship your clock-in tags.
- If you hire bartenders, we review your certificate of insurance.
