Save time posting recurring shift types by creating reusable templates.
Once you create a Business Account with Croux you can begin creating shifts. If you hire for the same type of shift often, a shift template lets you post those shifts in seconds.
Steps to Create a Template (Web App)
- From the left menu, click Shift Templates
- Click the + New Template button in the top right
- Fill in the template information fields
- Click Save Template
Template Information Fields
The template form includes everything needed to post a shift quickly later:
- Name — the template label (e.g., "Festival Event Setup Staff")
- Position — the job title applicants will see
- Description — duties, responsibilities, and qualifications
- Business address and location details
- Default start and end times (4+ hours recommended for faster fills)
- Suggested hourly rate ($15/hr minimum recommended)
- Uniform and dress code expectations
Save Any Shift as a Template
You can also save a shift as a template while creating it. Toggle on Save shift as template? and enter a template name — the shift will post and the template will be saved to your sidebar for next time.
Templates can be edited, duplicated, or deleted from the Shift Templates page anytime.
