You only pay for work that's completed. Here's how billing works when shifts don't go as planned.
When You Won't Be Charged
- No-shows: You're not charged if a hired worker doesn't show up
- Early departures: You're only charged for time actually worked
- Talent cancellations: You're not charged if talent cancels on you
- Croux cancellations: No charge if we can't fill your shift
When Refunds Don't Apply
- Late cancellations (within 24 hours): If you cancel with hired talent, workers may still receive compensation
- Completed shifts: Once a shift is worked and timesheet approved, refunds aren't available
- Disputes after approval: Review timesheets carefully before approving

Late Cancellation Policy
If you cancel a shift less than 24 hours before the start time and talent has already been hired, they may still receive partial compensation since they planned their day around your shift.
When a Refund Does Happen
In most cases — no-shows, early departures, talent cancellations — you simply aren't charged, so there's nothing to refund. Refunds only apply when a charge has already been processed and we later need to reverse it (for example, a Late Cancellation Fee that's waived after review).
When that does happen:
- The refund is credited back to your original payment method
- Processing typically takes 5-10 business days
