Want to reward great work? Add tips directly through the Croux app — 100% goes to your talent.
When to add tips
Tips can be added to any completed shift before you approve the timesheet. Once the timesheet is approved, the payment is processed and tips cannot be added through the app (see Missed the Window? below).
How to add a tip
- Open the Croux app and find the completed shift.
- Open the talent's pending timesheet.
- Tap Add additional pay and enter the amount.
- Review the amount and total charge shown, then tap Confirm.
- Review and approve the timesheet when you are ready.
If you have already added additional pay, use the pencil next to that amount to edit it while the timesheet is pending.
Important notes
- 100% of the tip goes to the talent. Croux's standard Service Fee applies to tips and other additional pay. It is charged to you on top of the tip and is never deducted from what the talent receives
- Tips are optional unless required by law, an agreement, or a commitment you have made
- Tips are processed with the shift payment through Stripe
- Tips appear on your invoice as a separate line item
- Cash tips given on-site do not need to be reported through the app
Pro tip: advertise tips in your shift
Attract more applicants by adding tip info to your shift description.
Example: "Tips: Expect $50–100 for a full shift."
Missed the window?
If you have already approved the timesheet and want to add a tip after the fact, email us at support@croux.co with:
- Shift number
- Talent name
- Tip amount
We will process it manually and add it to your next invoice.
Can't find the tip option?
The Add additional pay control appears on an editable timesheet before approval. Check that:
- The shift is marked completed
- The timesheet is still pending
- Your account has permission to manage timesheets and view prices
