When to Add Tips
Tips can be added to any completed shift before you approve the timesheet. Once the timesheet is approved, the payment is processed and tips cannot be added through the app (see Missed the Window? below).
Two Ways to Add a Tip
You can add a tip either from the timesheet view or right after you rate the talent. Both go to the same place.
Option 1: From the Timesheet
- Open the Croux app and go to your Shifts tab
- Find the completed shift and tap to open the timesheet
- Tap Add Tip next to the talent's name
- Enter the tip amount
- Review and approve the timesheet
Option 2: After Rating
- Open the Croux app and go to Timesheets or Past Shifts
- Find the completed shift and submit your rating
- Tap Add Tip on the confirmation screen
- Enter the amount and confirm
Important Notes
- Croux does not take any percentage of tips — 100% goes directly to the talent
- Tips are processed with the shift payment through Stripe
- Tips appear on your invoice as a separate line item
- Cash tips given on-site do not need to be reported through the app
Pro Tip: Advertise Tips in Your Shift
Attract more applicants by adding tip info to your shift description.
Example: "Tips: Expect $50–100 for a full shift."
Missed the Window?
If you have already approved the timesheet and want to add a tip after the fact, email us at support@croux.co with:
- Shift number
- Talent name
- Tip amount
We will process it manually and add it to your next invoice.
Can't Find the Tip Option?
The tip option appears on the timesheet before approval, or on the confirmation screen after you submit a rating. Check that:
- The shift is marked completed
- The timesheet has not already been approved
