Your Profile Score shows how complete your Croux profile is — and a stronger profile means more opportunities.
What Is a Profile Score?
Your Profile Score rates your profile from Poor to Excellent based on how many profile steps you've completed. The more you complete, the higher your score — and the more likely businesses are to hire you.
Your Profile Score also feeds directly into the Croux matchmaker. When businesses post shifts, talent with higher Profile Scores are ranked higher in the applicant pool — especially before you've built up a Trust Score from working shifts.
You'll see your score on the Profile screen with a progress tracker showing how many of the 10 steps you've finished.
The 10 Score Factors
Each factor has a "Complete →" button that takes you directly to that step:
- Identity Verification — verify your identity through Stripe
- Background Check — consent to a background check through Turn
- TARA Screening Call — complete a short AI-powered screening call (boosts your profile by up to 50%)
- Work History — add your relevant work experience
- Availability — set your available days and times
- Preferred Positions — select the roles and industries you prefer
- Weekly Goals — tell us how many hours or shifts you're looking for each week
- Certifications — upload any certifications you hold, or select "No Certifications" to mark this step complete
- Vouching — get vouched by other talent or businesses
- Uniforms — upload approved uniform photos
Completed steps show a green checkmark. Incomplete steps show a yellow alert with a "Complete →" link.
What Is TARA?
TARA is a short AI-powered screening call that verifies your work readiness. Completing TARA gives you a significant profile boost — up to 50% higher — which means you'll rank higher for shift opportunities right away. You can complete TARA during onboarding or from your Profile screen at any time.
Profile Score Ratings
- Poor — 1-3 of 10 complete
- Fair — 4-5 of 10 complete
- Good — 6-7 of 10 complete
- Excellent — 8-10 of 10 complete
Profile Score vs. Trust Score
Your Profile Score is based on your profile completeness — it helps you stand out before your first shift.
Your Trust Score is based on your work history — it builds after you start completing shifts (showing up on time, positive ratings, reliability).
Both scores help businesses decide who to hire. Early on, your Profile Score matters most because the matchmaker uses it to rank you for shift opportunities. Over time, your Trust Score takes over as your track record speaks for itself.
Tips to Boost Your Score Fast
- Complete TARA first — the 50% profile boost makes the biggest single impact on your ranking
- Start with the quick wins — Availability, Preferred Positions, and Weekly Goals take just a minute each
- Upload uniforms — get approved before you need them
- Add work history — even a few entries help businesses see your background
- Don't have certifications? — Select "No Certifications" to mark the step complete instead of leaving it pending
- Get vouched — ask coworkers or businesses you've worked with to vouch for you
