Shift Templates let you build a shift once and reuse it in seconds, and Required Skills make sure the talent you match with can actually do the job. Together, they make posting faster and your matches sharper.
This article covers creating a shift template, the fields it holds, editing and reusing it, and what happens when you post from one.
What's new
- Nothing to set up: all of your existing templates have been moved to our new template structure automatically
- Just choose a role: when you build a shift, you start by selecting a role, and your saved templates are right there
- Recommended pay ranges: every shift template now shows a recommended pay range, based on platform data and market research, so you can price competitively
- Pre-qualified applicants: talent attest that they have each required skill before they can apply
Shift templates
Instead of building every shift from scratch, start from a template. Choose a role to begin, then save your setup to reuse any time. Your existing templates have been moved over automatically and appear in your menu, ready to go. Nothing to set up.
Each template holds the role, shift details, pay, and required skills, so your next post is ready in a couple of taps.
How to create a shift template
- Go to Shift Templates
- Choose Select a role to start, or pick one of your saved templates
- Name your template and fill in the shift details, uniform, address, and pay. Every template shows a recommended pay range for the role, based on platform data and market research
- Add the Required Skills for the role (see below)
- Save, and reuse it any time you post a similar shift
What a template holds
- Name β the template label (e.g., "Festival Event Setup Staff")
- Role β the job title. This is what Concierge matches on: only Croux who carry this position are considered for the shift
- Description β duties, responsibilities, and qualifications
- Business address and location details
- Default start and end times β shifts of 4 hours or more are easier to staff
- Experience minimum β set this on skilled roles. A template set to zero years is open to anyone carrying the position
- Pay β with the recommended pay range for the role shown alongside
- Uniform and dress code expectations
- Required Skills β up to six per role
Save any shift as a template
You can also save a shift as a template while you are creating it. Toggle on Save shift as template? and enter a template name β the shift posts and the template is saved to your menu for next time.
Templates can be edited, duplicated, or deleted from the Shift Templates page at any time.
Required Skills
Required Skills tell us what a shift really needs, so we can match you with talent who have them. Add skills like lifting 50+ lbs, making craft cocktails, knife skills, carrying loaded trays, or working a high-volume room.
Choose + Add skill and pick from the list. Each role starts with three preset skills, and you can add up to three more. Before applying, talent must attest that they have each required skill, so your applicant pool is pre-qualified from the start.
Why it helps
- More qualified talent: applicants confirm they have every required skill before they apply
- Better funnel: fewer mismatches, so the right people show up ready to work
- Stronger partnership: clear expectations up front mean better outcomes for you and the talent who power your shifts
What happens when you post from a template
Posting from a template works exactly like posting a shift from scratch. Concierge matches Croux who carry the role and meet the experience minimum on the template, and confirms them onto the shift. You can still remove anyone, including someone already confirmed, up to 24 hours before the shift starts at no charge.
Bartending is the exception. Concierge does not fill bartending shifts automatically β a bartending template still posts normally, but those shifts are selected rather than matched, by you or by us on your behalf.
