How to Create a New Shift

Post shifts in minutes from your phone or computer.

Creating Shifts on Mobile

1. Tap the + button — From your Shifts screen, tap the "+" at the bottom center
2. Choose your method — Select "Post a new shift" or "Post shift from template"
3. Complete shift details — Fill in date, start/end times, position, job duties, and dress code
4. Post Shift — Tap "Post Shift" to publish
5. Invite your Croux — Optionally invite your favorite talent to apply

Creating Shifts on Web

1. Access the Shifts screen — Start on the main Shifts interface
2. Click New Shift — Opens the shift creation modal
3. Fill in Core Setup — Position, hourly rate, people needed, date, start/end time

4. Add location, access, and parking details — help talent arrive prepared
5. Review the Cost Summary — see hourly totals, talent pay, platform fees, and your total before publishing

6. Write a clear Shift Description — outline the role, guest expectations, arrival instructions
7. Set Experience Required — 0 to 10 years, so the right talent gets matched
8. Specify Uniform and Attire — exact dress code prevents misfires on shift day

9. Post Shift — Click Post Shift to publish
10. Invite your Croux — Select from your Croux network and click Invite your Croux

Tip: The more detailed your shift, the better your applicant quality.

Success! Your Shift is Posted

Once posted, you'll see a confirmation screen where you can invite your favorite talent:

Alternative: Use Croux Concierge
