What Are Captains?
Captains are your on-site managers — the people at your location who oversee day-to-day operations with Croux talent. With the Captains feature, you can give your managers their own access to Croux so they can handle timesheets, review talent, and manage shifts directly.
What Can Captains Do?
Captains have access to the tools they need to manage workers on the ground:
- Review and approve timesheets — Verify hours and approve them without waiting on you
- Rate and review talent — Provide feedback after shifts so your best workers get recognized
- View shift details — See who is scheduled, when, and for what role
- Manage day-to-day operations — Handle the on-site logistics so you can focus on the bigger picture
What Captains Cannot See
To protect your business's financial information, Captains do not have access to:
- Pay rates or hourly costs
- Invoices or billing details
- Subscription or account settings
This means you can confidently add your on-site managers without exposing sensitive pay data.
How to Add a Captain
- Open the Croux app and go to More
- Tap Manage Team
- Tap Add Captain
- Enter their name, email, and phone number
- Select which location(s) they should have access to
- They will receive an invite to set up their Captain account
When to Use Captains
Captains are ideal when you have on-site managers, shift leads, or supervisors who need to:
- Confirm talent arrival and manage clock-ins on the floor
- Approve timesheets quickly without delays
- Provide real-time feedback on talent performance
Adding Captains helps you stay in control while giving your team the tools to run shifts smoothly.
