Concierge fills your shifts for you. This article covers how your shift gets staffed, how to see who is on it, how to swap someone out, and how to build your bench for next time.
Concierge lives in the Croux web app. Sign in at croux.co on a computer or tablet browser to use it. The mobile app does not include Concierge.
How your shift gets staffed
You do not work through applicants one at a time, and you do not wait for applications to collect before hiring. When you post a shift, Concierge narrows to Croux who carry that position and meet the experience minimum you set, reaches for the people you have favorited and worked with successfully, and confirms them onto the shift — often within seconds of posting.
You can still see everyone attached to the shift, and you still decide who stays on it.
One exception: bartending
Concierge does not fill bartending shifts automatically. Bartending carries a level of skill that is not interchangeable with the rest of a floor, so those shifts are selected rather than matched — by you, or by us on your behalf.
Everything else on this page still applies to them. Your favorites, Do Not Hire list, ratings and experience minimum all still shape who we reach for on a bar shift. Tell us who you want behind your bar and we will get them on it.
To see who is on your shift
- Open the shift from your dashboard
- Select the Applicants tab or the count
- Use the Applied, Hired and Unavailable filters to see where each person stands
What you will see for each person
| Field | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Name and photo | Who they are |
| Trust Score | Their reliability rating across Croux |
| Experience | Relevant work history |
| Certifications | Food handler, ServSafe, and similar |
| Reviews | Feedback from businesses they have worked for |
You still decide who works
| You can always | Detail |
|---|---|
| Remove anyone | Including someone already confirmed, up to 24 hours before the shift starts, at no charge. Within 24 hours of the start time, a Late Cancellation Fee applies |
| Ask for specific people | Tell your account contact who you want on a shift and we will put them on it |
| Rule someone out for good | Add them to your Do Not Hire list from their profile and Concierge will not match them to you again. You only have to do it once |
| Change the requirements | Position, experience minimum, uniform, timing |
To take someone off a shift
Open the shift, view the hired list, select the person, then choose Remove and confirm. Removing someone more than 24 hours before the shift starts is free and the spot reopens for Concierge to fill again; within 24 hours of the start time a Late Cancellation Fee applies.
For the full walkthrough — when to remove versus asking the talent to cancel, what the talent sees, and how the fee is calculated — see How to Remove Hired Talent from a Shift.
Getting better people next time
| Do this | Why it works |
|---|---|
| Favorite the people you want back | Your My Croux list is the first place Concierge looks every time you post |
| Rate and comment after each shift | Written comments carry detail a star rating cannot, and they shape who gets matched to you |
| Use Do Not Hire | Permanent until you reverse it |
| Set an experience minimum | On skilled roles this is the fastest way to narrow who can be matched at all. Set it on the shift or on its shift template |
