Were you marked as a no-show but you actually worked the shift? Here's how to dispute it and get your record corrected.
Why Was I Marked as a No-Show?
You may be marked as a no-show if:
- You forgot to clock in when you arrived
- Your clock-in didn't register due to a technical issue
- The business didn't see you check in
Even if you were there and worked the full shift, the system relies on clock-in data to confirm attendance.
How to Dispute a No-Show
Contact us within 7 days of the shift — We'll reach out to the business on your behalf to verify you were there.
Submit a request or email support@croux.co with:
- Your name
- The shift date, time, and business name
- What happened (forgot to clock in, app issue, etc.)
- Any proof you have (texts with the manager, photos, etc.)
We'll contact the business to confirm your attendance and update your record if they verify you worked.
If the business cannot confirm that you worked, the no-show stays on your record. We cannot remove a no-show based on your report alone. A no-show that stands results in a permanent suspension, so send everything you have (see Understanding Account Suspensions and How to Resolve Them). Pay for the shift is based on the hours the business validates in their review, so a shift with no clock-in and no business confirmation does not pay.
How Long Does This Take?
Timing depends on how quickly the business responds. We will tell you the outcome either way.
How to Avoid No-Shows in the Future
- Always clock in when you arrive — Clock in as soon as the app lets you; clock-in opens 10 minutes before your scheduled start
- If your clock-in fails, tell the manager immediately — They can note your arrival time
- Keep your app updated — This helps prevent technical issues
- Screenshot your clock-in confirmation — Good to have just in case
