Croux talent are independent contractors, not employees. That changes what documents exist for income verification, and this article explains what you can use.
There are no traditional paystubs
Because you are an independent contractor, Croux does not issue paystubs the way an employer would. What you have instead is a complete payment record of every shift you have been paid for.
Your payment history is your proof of income
- In the app: your completed shifts and payments are listed in your payment history.
- In your Stripe account: every payout Croux has sent you is recorded in your Stripe Express dashboard, and you can review your full payout history there. Lenders and landlords generally accept bank statements showing these deposits alongside your payout history.
Tax documents
If your earnings qualify, you will receive a 1099 tax form for the year, which also serves as official income documentation.
If someone asks Croux to verify your employment
Croux cannot complete traditional employment verification forms, because you are not a Croux employee. If you need help documenting your work history on the platform, contact us through the app and we will help with what we can provide.
