GPS Troubleshooting: Clock-in and Clock-out Location Issues

⚡ Quick Fixes to Try First

1. Move closer to the building entrance — GPS works best outdoors, near the entrance
2. Wait 10-15 seconds — Sometimes GPS needs a moment to update your location
3. Toggle airplane mode on/off — This refreshes your connection
4. Close and reopen the Croux app

Example of the "too far from work site" error:

✅ Check Your Location Settings

➡️ iPhone:

1. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services
2. Make sure Location Services is ON
3. Scroll to Croux and select "While Using the App"
4. Also enable "Precise Location"

➡️ Android:

1. Go to Settings → Location
2. Make sure Location is ON
3. Tap App permissions → Croux
4. Select "Allow only while using the app"
5. Enable "Use precise location"

➡ Still Not Working? If you've tried the above and still can't clock in or out:

2. The business can fix it — They have access to update this and can correct your clock-in time directly
3. Start working — They can adjust your time manually
4. Confirm the correction — Make sure the updated time is reflected before you leave
