The Croux Trust Score is a data-driven reliability score that helps businesses quickly understand how dependable someone is likely to be on a shift.
We recently upgraded the Trust Score to make it smarter, fairer, and more predictive, using tens of thousands of real shift outcomes and over 100 performance signals. The result is a clearer, more accurate way to staff confidently and reduce last-minute issues.
How is the Trust Score calculated?
The Trust Score is based on long-term, real-world performance, not a single rating or a burst of recent activity. It looks at:
- Shift completion — shifts accepted and worked through to the end
- Reliability — arriving on time and not cancelling last-minute
- Business feedback — the ratings businesses leave after a shift
- Number of shifts worked
- Tenure on the platform — how long the account has been active on Croux
Trust Scores update daily, so the score always reflects a current track record.
What does not affect the Trust Score
- Leaving a shift early because of illness. This does not directly impact the Trust Score.
- Contacting Croux support or asking questions. Raising an issue with us is never held against a talent.
- Shifts a business cancels, or a business removing talent from a shift. Only a talent's own actions count toward their score.
What do the Trust Score levels mean?
Here is how to interpret the scoring scale:
| Score level | What it means |
|---|---|
| Unrated | Talent has not yet worked enough shifts for a Trust Score to be calculated |
| Fair | Represents the average community talent. This is not a poor rating — many reliable talent begin here and move up quickly as they complete shifts |
| Good | A proven, dependable talent with consistent attendance and positive outcomes |
| Very Good / Exceptional | Highly reliable talent with strong track records across multiple businesses and shifts |
This broader scale helps distinguish top performers.
How does the Trust Score help my business?
The Trust Score helps you:
- Predict reliability more accurately
- Improve fill quality by learning from actual shift outcomes
- Reduce no-shows and last-minute issues
- Set clearer expectations around what each Trust Score level represents
When reviewing applicants for your shifts, you can see each talent's Trust Score to help inform your hiring decision. When Concierge matches your shifts, talent with stronger Trust Scores are prioritized.
Does a lower Trust Score prevent talent from seeing my shifts?
No. The Trust Score is designed to guide smarter matching, not to exclude talent.
Talent are not permanently limited by their score. New and improving talent can move up quickly by completing reliable shifts. The system balances opportunity for talent with predictability for businesses.
Do I need to do anything to use the Trust Score?
No action is required — the Trust Score is live across Croux.
For best results, we recommend:
- Letting Concierge match your shifts rather than reviewing every applicant by hand
- Viewing the Trust Score as context, not a single decision point
- Using Trust Scores alongside role requirements and past shift outcomes
Concierge lives in the Croux web app. Sign in at croux.co on a computer or tablet browser to use it. The mobile app does not include Concierge.
Tip: Concierge uses the Trust Score when it matches, which helps your shifts fill faster with more reliable talent.
