Organize your talent roster with custom labels β group workers by skill, experience, or any category that matters to your business.
What Are Labels?
Labels are custom tags you create to organize and categorize your talent. Think of them as folders for your workforce β you decide what they mean and who gets them.
Examples:
- By skill: "Bartender β Craft Cocktails", "Bilingual", "ServSafe Certified"
- By experience: "VIP Events", "High Volume", "New β Needs Training"
- By preference: "Prefers Mornings", "Available Weekends", "Reliable Closer"
How to Create a Label
- Tap More in the bottom navigation
- Tap Manage Labels
- Tap Create New Label
- Enter a name for your label and choose a color
- Tap Create Label
Once created, your label appears in the Manage Labels list showing how many talent are tagged with it.
How to Apply Labels to Talent
- Open a talent's profile (from a shift, timesheet, or applicant list)
- Look for the Labels section
- Tap to add or remove labels
You can apply multiple labels to the same worker β they're not exclusive.
Filtering Talent by Label
Once you've labeled talent, you can filter your Favorite Talent list by label to quickly find the right person for the job. Label filters appear as tabs at the top of the list.
Using Labels to Hire Smarter
- Filter by label when reviewing applicants to quickly find the right fit
- Combine with Favorites β label your favorites by specialty so you know exactly who to invite for specific shift types
- Track performance β create labels like "Top Performer" or "Needs Coaching" to inform future hiring decisions
Managing Your Labels
To edit or delete labels, go to More β Manage Labels. You can rename labels or remove ones you no longer need. Removing a label does not affect the talent β it just removes the tag.
