When someone doesn't show up for a scheduled shift, here's what to do and what happens next.
Concierge lives in the Croux web app. Sign in at croux.co on a computer or tablet browser to use it. The mobile app does not include Concierge.
Immediate Steps
- Check your notifications β They may have sent a last-minute cancellation
- Try to contact them β Sometimes there are GPS or app issues preventing clock-in
- Request a replacement β ask Concierge or post an urgent shift to find coverage
How to Report a No-Show
If someone genuinely didn't show up:
- Go to Timesheets in your dashboard
- Find their timesheet
- Tap Report No-Show
- Confirm and leave a rating/note explaining what happened
What if they showed up late? Don't mark them as a no-show. Instead, adjust their clock-in time to reflect when they actually arrived.
What Happens to the Talent
No-shows are taken seriously on Croux:
- Their Trust Score drops significantly
- Their payment is placed on hold until the situation is resolved
- A no-show results in permanent suspension from the platform β enforced on the first offense
- Croux tracks no-show patterns across the platform
What Happens to Your Bill
You are not charged for no-shows. Billing is based on actual hours worked β if someone doesn't clock in, you don't pay.
Preventing Future No-Shows
- Let Concierge match β talent with higher Trust Scores are prioritized
- Build your My Croux list β Invite reliable talent you've used before
- Let Concierge overstaff β it can add backup talent when risk is higher, at no extra cost
- Check Trust Scores β Higher scores indicate more reliable talent
