Never miss a shift — Croux makes it easy to add your hired shifts to your phone's calendar.
Two Different Calendars
Croux has a calendar inside the app, and your phone has its own calendar. They are not the same thing:
- The calendar in My Shifts — Lives inside the Croux app. It shows your Croux shifts a week or a month at a time, with dots on the days that have shift activity.
- Your phone's calendar — Apple Calendar or Google Calendar. Adding a shift here puts it alongside everything else in your life and gives you a "Time to Leave" reminder.
This article is about the second one. Adding a shift to your phone's calendar does not change anything in the Croux app: you still need to confirm the shift in Croux before the deadline shown on the shift card, or you'll be removed from it.
How It Works
When you get hired for a shift, you'll see a “You're Hired!” screen with your shift details and an “Add to Calendar” button. Tap it and the shift goes straight to your phone's calendar.
If you're not ready, tap “Not Now” — you can always find shift details in the app under My Shifts.
What's in the Calendar Event?
Each shift appears in your calendar with all the details you need:
- Event title: Position — Business Name (e.g., “Banquet Server — Croux Country Club”)
- Time: Shift start and end time
- Location: Full business address with a map
- Notes: Shift code and pay rate
- Alert: “Time to Leave” reminder so you arrive on time
Good to Know
- You'll be prompted to add each shift when you're hired — just tap “Add to Calendar”
- If a shift is cancelled or you withdraw, the calendar event is removed
- The calendar reminder helps you plan your commute — especially useful for new locations
- A calendar event is a reminder, not a confirmation. You still have to confirm the shift in the Croux app before the deadline on the shift card
