Sometimes you will see a shift at a place you have worked recently, but the app will not let you accept it. If that happens, here is what is going on.
Some locations set their own weekly hour limit
A business can set a limit on how many hours any one person works at their property in a single week. When accepting a shift would put you over that location's limit, the app blocks the offer automatically.
This is set by that business under its own agreement. It is not a Croux policy, and there is no company-wide cap on how much you can work.
Nothing is wrong with your account
This is the part that worries people most, so we want to be clear about it. A block like this is not a suspension, not a ban, and not a mark against your record. It does not affect your Trust Score. Your account is in good standing.
What it does and does not affect
- Only that location. Shifts at other businesses are completely unaffected. You can keep applying and working everywhere else.
- Only that week. The count resets each week, so you can accept shifts at that location again once the new week starts.
- It can change. If the business adjusts its limit, the hours available to you change with it.
What to do
Check Open Shifts for other opportunities in your area in the meantime, and come back to that location next week.
Because the limit belongs to the business, support cannot raise it or grant an exception for a single shift. If a shift is blocked and you do not think a weekly limit explains it, reach out and we will look at what is happening on your specific account.
