How can I cancel a shift?
If you're unable to make a shift, please cancel it in the app as soon as possible. Canceling is always better than a no-show. All no-shows will result in permanent suspension from the platform.
How to cancel
From the shift details, tap "Cancel My Shift".
To confirm, you must provide a reason for cancelling.
Explain your reason and tap Confirm.
Late Cancellations
Cancelling a shift within 24 hours of the start time is considered a late cancellation and will result in a suspension. A late-cancellation suspension also removes you from any other shifts you are booked on during the suspension period. Once you confirm a cancellation it cannot be undone, and support cannot reverse it or hold your other shifts for you. Review the Croux Talent Guidelines to ensure you're operating within them.
Cancellations affect your cancellation rate and Trust Score, which are visible to businesses.
If your shift has already started
Once a shift's start time has passed, it can no longer be cancelled. The app will tell you the shift has already started, and support cannot cancel a shift that is in session either. Contacting support at that point will not prevent a no-show.
If you are hired for a shift and you can tell it is not going to work, cancel before the start time, even if you are close to it. A late cancellation carries a suspension that is temporary in almost every case, and its length depends on how many shifts you have completed. A shift that starts and is not worked is recorded as a no-show, which carries a permanent suspension.
