Having trouble with Instant Payout? Here's how to fix common issues.
What Is Instant Payout?
Instant Payout lets you transfer your earnings to an eligible debit card within minutes, for a small fee (3%). You can access it through your Stripe account dashboard.
Common Issues & Solutions
"Card Not Eligible"
- Only debit cards work for Instant Payout (not credit cards)
- The card must support instant transfers (most Visa/Mastercard debit cards do)
- Prepaid cards often don't work
- Try a different debit card from a major bank
"Transfer Failed"
- Double-check your card number and expiration date
- Ensure the card isn't expired or canceled
- Check that the name matches exactly
- Your bank may have blocked it — contact them to allow Stripe transfers
"Instant Payout Not Available"
- Instant Payout is only available once your earnings are in your Croux balance
- Pay is released to your balance about 24 hours after your shift's scheduled end (some businesses have longer approval windows, up to 96 hours)
- Make sure you've completed Stripe verification

Alternative: Standard Transfer
If Instant Payout isn't working, you can use the free standard transfer option. Funds typically arrive within 2–3 business days.
