When are bonuses paid?
Once you've met all the criteria for a bonus, it's reviewed weekly and paid out, typically by the end of the day on the following Tuesday, to your Stripe balance as a separate transfer. This is separate from your regular shift pay, which is released about 24 hours after the shift's scheduled end once you've rated the shift and the timesheet is approved.
If you earned a bonus, you'll see it as its own deposit — it won't be combined with your shift payment.
Types of bonuses
- Shift bonuses — Extra pay attached to specific shifts (the shift card shows a Bonus badge, and the shift details show the bonus amount before you apply). Some shift bonuses are only for talent new to that business: you qualify if you haven't completed a shift for that business yet, even if you've worked for other businesses on Croux
- Milestone bonuses — Rewards for hitting shift milestones, like completing 100 shifts
- Referral bonuses — Earn $10 when someone you refer completes their first shift, and another $20 when they complete their 5th shift (they earn the same!). For a limited time, when a friend signs up September 21 through November 15, 2026, you each earn $20 at their first shift and $80 at their fifth shift within 60 days of signing up. I haven't received my bonus yet
Here are a few things to check:
- Check the day — Bonuses are typically paid on Tuesdays. If you earned a bonus after Tuesday, it will be included in the following week's payout.
- Check your Stripe account — Make sure your Stripe account is set up and active. Bonuses are sent to the same account where you receive shift payments.
- Give it until end of day — Tuesday payouts process throughout the day. If it's still Tuesday, your bonus may not have been sent yet.
If it's Wednesday or later and you still haven't received your bonus, contact our support team with the date you qualified and we'll look into it. We reply within 2 business days.
